Nemesis Media is Kaylin Naicker, shooting out of Durban. Most weeks that means a wedding, a car somewhere with good light, and a few hundred products on white.

Every one of these was somebody’s one shot at it.

None of it came round twice.

Hold on to the whole day

I’m there from the quiet hour while you’re getting ready through to the last song. The parts you’ll remember, and the parts you were too busy to see. About four weeks later you get a gallery you can sit down and read in order.

Rolling shot 1/60s · Panning · ISO 100

Rolling shots, static sets, detail work. For dealers, builders, and people who have spent too much on a car and want it to show. I scout the road and the light before the day, and I light the panels properly.

It only
happens once

I come to you while everyone is still getting ready, we do a proper set at a location on the way, and I cover the arrival. Parents end up in half of it, which is usually the point.

The dress, the suit, the car, the drive-in.
